Where do I get the Zip! software?
You can obtain the Zip! software at http://chipzip.audiofy.com for both the Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
Can I use Zip with my iPod Shuffle?
No. The firmware on the Shuffle will not support our titles. Do not attempt this. Attempting to do so may render the chip unusable. The Shuffle is the only iPod model that is unsupported.
How can I use the Audiofy chips in my car?
With a Palm or Windows Mobile cell phone, Palm or Pocket PC PDA, or the Audiofy Player, its easy to listen to an Audiofy Chip in your car. You can use a cassette tape adapter or use an FM transmitter to play through your car's speaker. If you own a newer car, it may already have a "line-in" jack, which allows you to plug your audio device directly into your car stereo.
How long does the Zip! process take?
The Plays for Sure (Windows Media format) conversion takes a few hours for a long title. The title must first be transferred from the chip to Windows Media Player (WMP), and then from WMP synced to the device. The transfer takes about 5-10 minutes, but the initial conversion can take hours. Transferring your content to iPod or iPhone is a much faster—it only takes about 15 minutes from start to finish.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Audiofy Corporation warrants to its customer and to its customer's end-user customer that Audiofy audiobook chips and the Model RK Audiofy Player (the Products) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase.

Audiofy makes no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or other warranties, express or implied. Audiofy shall have no liability for special, incidental, and consequental damages, including without limitation lost revenues and profits.

If Audiofy receives notice of any defects during the warranty period, Audiofy will, at its option, repair or replace any defective Product without charge, except for shipping and insurance. Audiofy may replace defective Products with new or rebuilt replacement parts, that will be warranted as set forth above for the remainder of the original warranty period.
